School-based programs

Description: Global Kids' school-based programs include comprehensive year-long programs, as well as shorter term programs that focus on a specific global issue or the unique needs of a school community. These programs combine intensive classroom activities that develop personal and academic skills and integrate global issues into the standard curriculum with the after school programming of Global Kids' Power of Citizenry Leadership Program. Our school based programs are conducted in collaboration with the New York City Department of Education, The After-School Corporation, and the United Way of New York City.
