The Girl Scouts of Greater New York

Mission:

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

The Girl Scout Council of Greater New York is the oldest and largest exclusively girl-serving agency in New York City, reaching more than 21,000 girls through the efforts of 7,400 adult volunteers. Our innovative programming in career exploration, financial literacy, science, and health, coupled with traditional Cookie, camp and community service programs enables us to focus on the realities girls face today while staying true to our Girl Scout traditions.
