"Cultivating Global Citizenship"
Description: Do your students feel safe in their classrooms?
Bullying fueled by religious and cultural intolerance is a roadblock to creating a climate of fairness and respect in classrooms. When students can’t work collaboratively, real learning doesn’t happen.
In Cultivating Global Citizenship (https://www.tanenbaum.org/programs/education/teacher-training#diversity) – lauded as “invaluable to any educator” by the New York City Department of Education – you'll learn to assess the state of multicultural education in your classroom and adapt your curriculum. You'll even come away with fully-functional lesson plans you can start using this fall!
