Through contracts with the New York State OMRDD, Sprout offers programs for people with developmental disabilities living in New York City. These are family support programs and participants must reside with family members.

School Holiday Vacation Program
Description: Provide vacations for young adults 14-21 with developmental disabilities residing within the boroughs of Brooklyn and Manhattan. We offer 5-day (Monday through Friday) vacations during the NYC Public School Winter and Spring breaks. The vacations are at no cost to the participants and transportation is provided.

The Staten Island Camp Program
Description: Is a 5-day (Monday - Friday) camp vacation for persons 16 years of age and older residing within the borough of Staten Island. The vacation takes place in the Berkshires, Connecticut during the last week of August each year and is at no cost to the participants or families. Transportation is provided.

Make-A-Movie Program
Description: Since 1994, Sprout's Make-A-Movie program has turned cameras on adults with developmental disabilities for a series of fun, poignant and richly drawn videos. This innovative program offers people with developmental disabilities the opportunity to star in and be part of the creative video-making process.
