Programs/Services
Art Program
Description: The arts help develop the attitudes, characteristics and intellectual skills required to participate effectively in today's society and economy. Through the arts we learn self-discipline, reinforce self-esteem, and foster creativity. Over 3,000 people participate in Hudson Guild's arts programming each year.For more than 50 years, Hudson Guild's galleries have presented more than 300 diverse shows and works by both professional and amateur artists, from traditional styles of painting, drawing, sculpture and photography to works using new media and styles that grapple with 21st Century issues. Hudson Guild also has a theater program led by professional theatre artists.

The Beacon Program
Description: The Beacon Program is a school-based community center offering young people and families diverse opportunities to grow and participate in the life and spirit of their communities. The program addresses the reality that many young people have nowhere to go and nothing to do during the hours that school is not in session.
Over 2,000 students participate in such programs as athletics, performance arts, career counseling and more. Building character is of paramount importance within this program, a key focus in persuading young people that they can fulfill their dreams, perhaps moving onto college.

Children and Youth Services
Description: Through comprehensive educational and support programs for youngsters and teens, young adults, and their parents, Hudson Guild helps ensure that all of today youth will be productive members of our community tomorrow. Hudson Guild provides a summer camp, family day care, preschool, kindergarten, Early Options Program (to help parents and youth choose the high school that is the best fit), Teen Socialization and Recreation activities.
