In addition to families and school groups our educators provide numerous professional development opportunities for teachers. Teachers in New York, across the country, and around the world can inform and inspire students with our award-winning environmental education materials. And, if you have the time, we have attractive volunteer opportunities in all of our zoos and aquarium.

Bronx Zoo Class Visits
Description: To encourage participation in the Bronx Zoo’s exciting, on-site programs, schools outside New York City will not be charged the $5 per person general admissions fee. In order to gain free general zoo admission, teachers will be asked at the gate to present a copy of their program confirmation letter sent by the Education Department upon completion of the enrollment process.
