Why I'm interested in education: My child has autism - he was diagnoased at the age of 2 in 2000. I have immersed myself into his therapy and education and have been fortunate enough to find a means to teach him. This method has been successful with thousands of other children.

What I want to change in education: Education today is very similar to the education of 40 years ago. Children were very different 40 years ago. I want influence education to include teaching tools that are available to society through technology. These tools are a means of delivering instruction that stimulate all of ones senses and therefore teaching becomes much more effective. Children learn more, understand more and acquire skills at a much more rapid rate than traditional auditory instruction provides.
