Mission:
ESR is a national leader in educational reform. Our work spans the fields of social and emotional learning, character education, conflict resolution, diversity education, civic engagement, prevention programming, youth development, and secondary school improvement. We offer comprehensive programs, staff development, consultation, and resources for adults who teach children and young people preschool through high school, in settings including K-12 schools, early childhood centers and afterschool programs.

Early Childhood Adventures in Peacemaking
Description: Early Childhood Adventures in Peacemaking (AIP) is a unique educational program for children, parents, and early childcare providers. AIP integrates conflict resolution, social and emotional learning, and appreciation for diversity into developmentally appropriate practice and curriculum for children from age three to seven.

Elementary School:
Description: ESR is a national leader in prevention, social and emotional learning, diversity education, character education, and conflict resolution programming in elementary schools across the country. Our programs and resources have a proven track record and measurable results. We support teachers, counselors, principals, parents, and others in the essential work of: Helping students develop and strengthen social skills, emotional competencies, and qualities of character that increase interpersonal effectiveness, reduce aggressive and anti-social behavior and intolerance, and enhance academic achievement; Creating peaceable (safe, caring, and respectful) classroom environments;Establishing a safer school and more positive peer culture

Afterschool:
Description: We know that afterschool needs to feel different from school. So we designed Adventures in Peacemaking (AIP), an activity-based educational program that can be quickly and easily introduced into any afterschool program. With AIP, you’ll learn the skills you need to develop afterschool programs that address the needs of the whole child.
