Literature to LifeĀ® gives students a new form of access to literature by bringing to life the world of the book with performances that create an atmosphere of discovery and spark the imagination.

PERFORMANCES: FIELD TRIP
Description: A Literature to Life Performance is a verbatim theatrical adaptation of significant American literature brought to life by a professional actor. Our Black Box theatre has a 40 seat minimum and a 60 seat maximum. We can accommodate larger groups on special request. Each performance includes a 15 minute pre-show interactive discussion, appx. 1 hour performance, 15 minute facilitated reflection, actor talk-back & Teacher Resource Guide.
Fees for services: $8.00 per student

RESIDENCIES
Description: A Literature to Life Residency workshop is an in-school experience customized to meet the needs of your classroom. Led by Master Teaching Artists, sessions use high quality theatre, drama-in-education, and significant American literature to foster students' personal connections to cross-curricular, standards-based units of study.
