Bent on Learning is a nonprofit organization that brings yoga and meditation to New York City public schools and youth centers. Their mission is to encourage inner city kids to choose a positive path of physical health and mental well-being.

Yoga Classes
Description: Bent On Learning offers yoga classes to students in grades K-12 in public schools throughout New York City. We also offer workshops to teachers to incorporate simple yoga techniques and mindfulness training into their teaching.
Bent On Learning yoga classes cost $50 per class. Mats cost $8 each, plus a flat shipping cost of about $25. Bent On Learning charges an additional 10% coordination fee, based on the total cost of the program. Schools can apply for grants (generally for Phys. Ed.) through the Department of Education
