Youth, I.N.C.

Mission:

Youth, I.N.C. helps its partner nonprofits by teaching them how to fundraise more effectively, build a strong Board of Directors, and recruit corporate donors. Instead of providing them monetary support, Youth, I.N.C. teaches them how to build their funding sources. Through the network of nonprofit organizations, Youth, I.N.C. is serving over 100,000 children and youth annually! Like the adage, "If you give a man a fish, he will eat for a day; if you teach a man to fish, he will eat for a lifetime," at Youth, I.N.C. we help organizations help themselves.

Celebration

Description: Celebration is Youth, I.N.C.’s marquee program—an innovative model that offers non-profit organizations the training, hands-on experience, resources, and funds needed to learn and apply effective development and marketing techniques.Non-profits receive a year of training through workshops on topics such as expanding donor networks, leveraging corporate support, recruiting leadership, long-term donor cultivation, effective fundraising skills, and best practices in board governance. Beyond these workshops, Youth, I.N.C. provides our participating non-profits with one-on-one consultations and personalized support.

Many non-profits struggle to recruit strong board members to champion their causes. Youth, I.N.C. helps build highly effective boards, while teaching non-profits to leverage connections, resources and networks. Board Management and Development is a twelve-month program offering intensive, personalized board development expertise to select non-profits that have participated in at least one year of the Celebration program. These organizations receive assistance and guidance from our experts, mentors, and networks in establishing better, stronger and more diverse boards.
