Teachers Network Leadership Institute (TNLI)
Description: TNLI was established to improve student achievement by giving teachers an active voice in education policymaking so that policy decisions are informed by the realities of daily classroom life. TNLI MetLife Fellows—all full-time teachers from Teachers Network affiliates—research key issues and develop recommendations based on their findings. These findings are then published and disseminated nationwide. To help get the word out, fellows routinely present their research and recommendations to policymakers at all levels. In addition, many fellows serve on local, state, and national education policy advisory boards and task forces. http://teachersnetwork.org/tnli/index.htm
