Run the ING NYC Marathon with Team LinkEd!

Are you passionate about education? Do you love to run (or know someone who does)? If so, LinkEducation is looking for you!

Through a partnership with the New York Road Runners Community Charity program, LinkEducation (LinkEd) is offering five (5) guaranteed entry slots for the ING New York City Marathon, an illustrious 26.2-mile event taking place across all five boroughs of New York City on Sunday, November 4, 2012.

Proceeds from this event will help to fund LinkEducation's work in New York City, ensuring that we can continue to connect the community (including you!) with excellent educational programs both online and in person.

Amanda has been involved in education reform since 2004, as a staff member with Teach For America where she worked for seven years and now as a board member of Brooklyn Ascend Charter School.  She loves international traveling and hiking, which led to running becoming a more recent passion, so she is excited to take on the challenge of running her first marathon with LinkEd in New York City.  She currently lives in New York and works for hedge fund in Westport, Connecticut.

Julia and Gonzalo Ramirez

We are running the NYC Marathon together! Hooray! One of my life goals has always been to run a marathon by the time I turned 25.  Since that day will come in March, this is my last chance!  Please help me fundraise for this wonderful organization.  As you know education reform is my passion so help us out! :)
