Our History

LinkEducation began with the idea that there has to be a faster and more accurate way to find education resources in your own community than filtering through pages and pages of google results. By bringing together and publicizing thousands of free or low-cost education opportunitiesworking to improve public education in New York City, we are able to make bigger strides with more accessibility to one another.

The LinkEducation leadership team talked with hundreds of education organization leaders, teachers, and parents to build what is now LinkEducation.org. In January 2008, the LinkEducation website launched for the NYC education community. We continue to grow and will expand our reach to additional cities in the coming years.
