Who We Are
LinkEducation exists to make information available so that communities - parents, educators, students, school leaders, policy makers, education organization employees - can make more informed decisions and demand the absolute best education possible for their children.
How Does LinkEd Work?
Organizations:
Organizations can create free profiles on LinkEd to make their information public and searchable in a simple, organized fashion. Important facts including mission, services, locations, contact information, and fees for service can be viewed in one quick glance on a profile by all visitors to the site, members and nonmembers.
Organizations are also invited to present at LinkEd’s twice annual Education Expo to reach hundreds of NYC parents, educators, and school leaders in one venue.
Individuals:
Individuals are able to create free profiles to find job opportunities, connect with other people in the same field, find resources to help their school, child or classroom, and discover ways to enhance their children’s educational experience.
Individuals can also sign up for education events using the LinkEd calendar or find excellent programs at free or low-cost geared for their children or classrooms at LinkEd’s twice annual Education Expo.
Schools:
Through a partnership with GreatSchools, LinkEd has profiles of every public pre-k through 12 school in NYC filled with vital details about the school.
School leaders can use LinkEd to add information to their free profiles. They can also post job and volunteer opportunities, publicize school programs, school needs, and information for their local communities, and connect with outside providers to enhance school programming.
