This informational session will help parents and school districts become more effective partners through special education mediation and other means of collaboration. The program educates attendees on conflict resolution, effective communication and dispute resolution options, in particular mediation. Attendees will leave the program with practical tips and tools for effective communication, information on programs developed to assist parents and schools in conflict resolution, and resources for information, advice and support.
