The NYC Department of Education’s Office of Library Services invites all librarians and teachers assigned to the library to its full-day professional development conference focused on the implementation of Common Core Learning Standards through building a 21st-century school library program. Building-level librarians will provide presentation to help participants implement innovative instructional practices in their school library programs. Exhibits will include information on summer reading, e-resource integration, primary sources, and digital citizenship. The Exploratorium will take place on Wednesday, May 16 from 8am-3pm at the Celeste Bartos Forum in the New York Public Library Schwarzman Building on 42nd Street and Fifth Avenue.
