Internships Needed for High Schoolers!
February 24, 2009, 3:29 pm
Could you use help with web design, business, media, event planning, or graphic design work at your organization?? The Pablo Neruda Academy for Architecture and World Studies (PNA) is looking for organizations that can provide a spring internship for one of their high school eleventh graders. PNA is a small public school in the Bronx has many students looking for unpaid internships this spring on Thursdays and Fridays from March 12 - May 1 (12 calendar days due to Spring Break schedule).
The PNA internship program offers these students an opportunity most adolescents do not receive - a chance to experience the professional workplace. PNA students are academically successful and eager to contribute. Unfortunately, due to recent budget cuts, many of the planned partnerships have been canceled leaving a number of students without a placement.
If you are interested in learning more about this program and/or could us a spring intern, please contact Catherine Finneran at Catherine.finneran@gmail.com
