Queens Library hosts "Blood and Guts" workshop

Children’s Library Discovery Center at Queens Central Library in Jamaica, Queens will be hosting a hands-on Science workshop at the 6th Annual K-12 Education Expo! They are bringing their discovery center to us so that our families and teachers can experience them first hand. Here is some additional information about their workshop:
Blood and Guts
What’s Happening in There? Investigate the internal working of YOU with children’s literature and hands on science. Mess Alert – this involves some kinda gross hands on, brain on activities exploring our circulatory, respiratory and digestive systems. Lesson plans and book/web site lists provided for presenting these activities in the classroom or at home. Families or unaccompanied educators welcome.
