Arts Exploration Workshop

Arts Horizons is teaching an art class at our 6th Annual K-12 Education Expo! Check out the description below:
Visiting Arts Horizons Teaching Artist will engage participants in an art-making experience using mixed-mediums, including painting, collaging and recycled materials. Participants will be inspired by the works of prominent collage artists, such as George Grosz, Romare Bearden and Wangechi Mutu - all of whom used paints and repurposed printed images to create original figures, characters and compositions. Expo visitors participating in this workshop will gain exposure to the works of historic artists, while creating their own unique masterpieces from everyday materials, fun, and a little imagination!
